1 Minute Microwave Pizza in a Mug

OK so, real talk. I was trying to think of a use for all my coffee mugs seeing as I only drink out of tumblers now. There they are, just sitting in the cabinet all lonely and unused. You too? Fear not my friends. I have found the perfect solution!

1 MINUTE PIZZA IN A MUG!

I shit you not, this is a recipe I found and it’s easy and delicious. If you’re a mom and running out of ideas to entertain the kiddos, turn them into chef’s because this is a dish they can make for themselves and will absolutely love eating it as much as the process of making it.

Here is the list of ingredients!

  • 4 Tablespoons of Flour/ GF Flour works too! (I tried it)
  • 1/16 Teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Salt
  • 3 Tablespoons 2% Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Pizza Sauce
  • Generous tablespoon of shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 mini Pepperoni
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Basil

Directions:

  • Mix the flour, baking soda and salt together in a microwavable mug.
  • Add in the milk and oil then mix together.
  • Spoon on the marinara sauce and spread it around the surface of the batter.
  • Sprinkle on the cheese, pepperoni, and dried herbs
  • Microwave for 1 minute 10 - 1 minute 20 seconds, or until it rises up and the toppings are bubbling (timing is based on my 1200W microwave so your timing might vary)
  • Enjoy!
